Book Review: Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham

I must admit that I purchased this book (I actually listened to it on Audible) based solely on my obsession with Gilmore girls. I’ve always adored Gilmore girls and would watch it after school on ABC Family growing up. However, when Netflix released all of it’s seasons, I had the opportunity to re-watch it from the start. Turns out, I hadn’t seen close to half, haha.

Back to the book.

What I Loved

This book covers Lauren Graham’s adventure in being cast as the iconic Lorelai Gilmore, learning to talk literally as fast as she could, the process of Amy and Dan Palladino leaving the show, the unexpected finale, doing Parenthood and then….it happened, the Gilmore girls revival. Her style of storytelling really captivates. She also adds tidbits of her life including her relationship with her parents, dealing with relationships in Hollywood, etc.

I don’t want to spoil the book for anyone but I will say that the book is very Gilmore girls focused, it’s perfect for any fan of the show.

What I Didn’t Love

Honestly, I loved it all.

My Rating

5 out of 5 Coffee cups

Would I recommend it?

Absolutely, but only if you’re a Gilmore girls fan.
