August 2016 Books

This section I hope to use solely for book reviews. I love reading and as of late have also gotten into the habit of using Audible for audiobooks. It’s taken some getting used to but when you’re as busy as I tend to be and also have the limited attention span that I inherited from my mother, they help.

To start off this section of my blog, here are the books I’ll be reading during the month of August as well as one Audible book. I won’t always do homemaking “themed” books but these are some that I’ve had on my to-read list since forever ago and by forever ago I mean late March 2016.

  1. America’s Cheapest Family Gets You Right on the Money: Your guide to Living Better, Spending Less, and Cashing in on Your Dreams
    by: Steve and Annette Economides
I purchased it used on Amazon for .01 cent and paid for $3.99 S&H. Still a better detail than purchasing through Amazon Prime.
  2. Cut Your Grocery Bill In Half
    by: Steve and Annette Economides
Same as their other book, used on Amazon for .01 cent. Both books are 100% like new, they didn’t even have creases. I’m sure they had never been opened before.
  3. Living a Beautiful Life on Less
    by: Danielle Wagasky
I’ve been reading Danielle’s book for forever it seems. I began the book right when we began the moving process so I’m very behind but I hope to finish it by next week. In order to save some money, I purchased it for Kindle and read on the Kindle for Mac app.
  4. The Four Seasons of Marriage
by: Gary ChapmanI came across this book through Audrey and Jeremy Roloff’s blog. I still had a credit available from Audible for August, I listened to the preview before “purchasing” and loved it. Can’t wait to dig in.
